In celebrating the Africa month, our organization through our expo aims to bring together African cultures from different african countries, diplomats, dignitaries, and enthusiasts to celebrate our indigenous knowledge systems, arts and culture and culinary skills. The theme for this year is “We Love Africa, We Are Africa.”

This activity provides a platform for diverse information dissemination/sharing, exhibitions and entertainment; And, to motivate Africans to have the undying determination to always strive for an independent and better Africa.

It is our belief that the activity will contribute immensely to increased awareness and appreciation of our heritage and cultural goods; increased knowledge, production and marketing of these goods and services resulting to improved livelihoods for our communities.

This is the third edition of the Insangu (Cannabis and Hemp) - Maganu (marula) Exhibition and Festival, which aims at creating awareness, build capacity and to position the producers of cannabis and marula products as well as the grassroot populace to take advantage of the opportunities before them for economic empowerment and betterment of their livelihoods.

The event will kick off with a capacity building workshop on Friday, focusing on policy issues, opportunities, challenges, markets and synergies that will be held at Malelane – Nkomanzi Local Municipality.

Saturday is the climax of the event, signified by the delivery of marula brew to the tribal authorities and showcasing of the various traditional dances. The evening “Umgidzangoma” which is a music and food gig with various artists perfoming until late.
