About the Role
Sales and purchasing
We are an online cannabis retail business based in Stellenbosch, operating on a 24/7 shift-based model. We are currently looking to appoint multiple entry-level Ecommerce Support & Order Dispatch Assistants to ensure continuous coverage across day, evening, and night shifts.
This role focuses on customer communication, basic order processing, and coordinating handover to delivery drivers during assigned shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer enquiries via WhatsApp and online platforms
- Confirming orders and providing basic customer support
- Preparing, packing, and organising orders for dispatch
- Handing prepared packages to delivery drivers
- Basic order tracking and simple administrative tasks
This is an operational, hands-on role suited to reliable individuals who are comfortable working shifts and following clear processes.
Requirements
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy
- Comfortable using WhatsApp and messaging platforms
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Willingness to work 8-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently during quieter shifts
- Prior retail, customer service, or warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
Salary:
Aligned with national minimum wage, dependent on hours worked and shift allocation.
