The perfect soil pH for cannabis plants is between 6 and 7. A pH of 7 is considered neutral, while values below 7 are acidic and values above 7 are alkaline. Cannabis plants prefer slightly acidic soil, with a pH of around 6.5 being ideal.

Having the correct soil pH is important because it affects the availability of nutrients to the plant. If the pH is too low, the soil will be too acidic and nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium will not be readily available to the plant. On the other hand, if the pH is too high, the soil will be too alkaline and the plant will struggle to absorb nutrients.

It's important to regularly test the pH of your soil to ensure that it is within the optimal range for cannabis growth. This can be done using a soil pH test kit, which can be purchased at a garden center or online. If the soil pH is outside of the ideal range, it can be adjusted using soil amendments such as lime for alkaline soil or sulfur for acidic soil.

By maintaining the ideal soil pH, you can ensure that your cannabis plants have access to all the nutrients they need to thrive. This will help to improve their overall health and increase their yield. 💚
